Our Team

It starts with our team of servers.  Our servers are experienced and dedicated to making your dining experience a pleasant one.  We start with a smile and continue by staying close by to ensure all of your dining needs are met.  Below is a picture of our team.

Our Chef

One of the primary reasons our food has been consistently excellent throughout the years is that our chef, Sylvestre Del Rio, has been with us for over 15 years.  He continues to create fresh and delicious breakfast and lunch meals just like he did 15 years ago.  Anyone that has had a meal at The Rising Loafer Café & Bakery knows that Sylvestre excels at creating incredible fresh breads and soups.

Community Support

We are appreciative of the support we have received from the local community and so we do what we can to return the favor.  We are particularly passionate about supporting kids programs and local education, after all kids are our future.  Following is a brief description of the programs we support.

Greenbrook Elementary School - For families with a family member currently enrolled in Greenbrook Elementary School we will contribute 5% of your meal check to the Eagle Fund.  Just let your server know you have a child enrolled at Greenbrook.

San Ramon Valley School District - On the first Wednesday of every month we contribute 15 % of the gross proceeds of the meal check for families who have a family member enrolled in San Ramon Valley School District to the school district.  Support our local schools by visiting us on the first Wednesday of every month.

Primo's Run for Education- This is a great annual event that raises lots of money for the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation.  We provide support by providing food and gift certificates.  We encourage everyone to participate in this wonderful event!

Danville Chamber of Commerce - We are active members of the Danville Chamber of Commerce.   

Danville Merchants Association - We are also active participants in the local chapter of the American Merchants Association.

Diablo Valley Women's League - We have provided food and support for the DVWL auction to raise funds for Helping Children with Cancer.   

Veterans - We have a group of local military veterans that we are honored and priviledged to have in our restaurant every weekday morning.  Below is a picture of our veteran friends.
